So Here Is What I'm Thinking

A Lot Going On Up There

Do you ever have those days when you brain just won't SHUT UP?

When it is incessantly rambling at you? You need to do this, you need to do that, but wait- what about this? What about that? And hey, remember that dream you had? Of making big things happen? Well, I wonder how that's going?

I'm having one of those days. My plate continues to be quite full. The list is never ending. Thankfully my clients rock and understand that I am a one girl show. They also understand that I don't want to present them with things that are half-assed, but rather designs that I really believe in. Amidst all of that, I am a girl with dreams, who is trying to put pen to paper and turn them into reachable goals with actionable steps.

What's wrong with being a dreamer I wonder?

Oh yeah, life doesn't stop for dreaming. I still have to put the Christmas decorations away. Go grocery shopping at some point. Cook dinner. Throw a laundry in. Make the bed? Do a major purging of stuff out of this house. Take care of bookkeeping. Organize this space and my head.

So, the list goes on and keeps getting in the way of my dreams. Am I the only one with this problem?
If I'm not, how do you cope with all there is to do, and shut your brain up so you can actually get it done?

Just me...over here on the other side of your computer screen, wondering how you have hopes and dreams, work to be done, make goals and plans, and get it all done?

I'm not one to compare myself to others but I do see so many bloggers and creatives who put out numerous posts every day, handle multiple projects, make plans for new projects and see them through to fruition........ and they seem to do with ease. I to think it's a mirage or a slight of hand.

I just wish I knew the magic trick.

I've been reading a lot of articles about this stuff as I am actually putting pen to paper and mapping out goals and plans and actions, but I'm open to any and all suggestions from all of you fellow dreamers out there.

Ciao for now,

  1. personally I think those bloggers/crafters/sellers that blog several times a day, create and list new items, and join all and every social media circles out there are either....1) paying a maid to clean their homes....2) live in really messy homes and eat spaghettios every day.....3) or they are LYING TO US ALL! hahahaha
so keep making your lists and dreaming your dreams...but more important...enjoy life! (have a campfire girlfriend, they make everything good)

    1. Maybe that's my problem. Never did like spaghettios. What can I say? Hmmm, maybe a campfire this weekend if it's not too too cold. or have it anyways and layer up! thanks for the laugh!

  2. I think it's an illusion when people seem to have it all together. I'm usually a whirlwind of to-do lists and ideas, so I try to write everything down. Otherwise I always have the feeling that I'm forgetting something...plus I like crossing things off a list. It also doesn't hurt that I pay someone to clean my house ;)

  4. Yep, need that magic too. I think they are pretty single minded and maybe less multidimensional. That's why they have less stuff in the way and cleaners... Surely
