Playing Tourist
Having visitors from other countries is always a good excuse to play tourist.
G's sister, her husband and kids, visited with us for the past couple of weeks. It's why I've been so scarce. They traveled all the way from Cyprus and when you live that far away from each other and seen each other (except via skype) in 12 years, there is a lot of catching up to do.
We hit the weather window right last week and headed into Boston on a beautiful summer day.
Then we ventured back out into the heat, past the custom house clock tower, and headed back to the market for some lunch.
Said goodbye to the market and hightailed it back to the train.
So, what have you guys been up to?
Ciao for now,
Woot, Boston! Looks like you all had a great time. Yesterday I was playing tourist in Chicago after being at a conference all day Thursday and Friday.
ReplyDeletewell, i still haven't done the freedom trail, but I did cross aquarium and city day off my summer to do list. think we'll plan on heading in again in august. maybe we'll even get to the freedom trail!

Love the pictures!! I especially love the one with the turtle. I like spending time in Boston. It's actually one of the cities we are considering moving to.
ReplyDeleteLOVE love love Boston!! Very jealous you're so close :(
ReplyDeleteat least you got to visit this year! it'd be a bummer to go back and not see as much as you can. you've seen more of the U.S. than I have Becc!
