Well, it's shaping up to be a storm we remember here in New Hampshire and the Northeast. The blizzard of 13 has just started to show us a little of it's stuff. We're busy prepping. Battening down the hatches, filling things with water in case of power outage, candles and flashlights at the read, wood stove cranking and hearth loaded with more logs for the fire.
The dog on the other hand is busy doing this.
So far it's very fine snow. They're predicting it could come down 1-3 inches an hour during the night, which is super fast. If it comes down like that, we very well may get what they think......we're in the 18-24" zone with some pockets of 30".
We'll just have to ride it out and see what happens.
Backyard shot before. As you can see, the pool cover already blew off in another storm.
If you're in the Northeast, be safe.
See you all on the flip side.
Ciao for now,
Best wishes for weathering the storm! Keep safe.
ReplyDeleteOur dog would be cowering in a corner, pacing or she'd just climb in the bath tub and hunker down. Stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm!
ReplyDeletePraying for you lady! Xo, Ashley
ReplyDeleteBe safe!
ReplyDeleteIt's been looking and sounding awful - from this side of The Pond! How much worse for all you folks! Keep warm, and safe. Seems to me the dog had the right idea! "What the eyes don't see.... and all that jazz!
