Spring Has Sprung

In The Yard

I got outside at the end of the day yesterday. We went for a walk in the field and then I came back and did a little raking and weeding. Oh my, is there a lot of that to do. That's ok. Free therapy.

There are things popping all over.

My forsythia is longing to burst.  Chartruese in all it's glory before it's full-on sunshine yellow.

I think I already mentioned the other day that my vinca is up too.

There is nothing more beautiful than nature. Look at the symetry of the white markings.  Lovely.

The tiger lilies are all over my yard. Probably my easiest plant to care for. They could care less if the chippies are digging under them. They just keep multiplying and blooming. My kind of flower. My other day lilies are pretty good that way too so I just keep adding more.

This one was pushing up with a dew drop on it's leaf. Good morning sunshine.

Next door I got to have a puppy fix this morning. The neighbors take care of 2 border collies Tanner and Rio. Well, Tanner and Rio just got a new brother, Shane and he's over getting used to his sitter's place.

So sweet. Made my morning.

Muppy puppy head.

More puppy time later, for sure.

In other news 'round these here parts. Do you remember my paper star tutorial?
Well, lucky me. It was featured on 'OrSoSheSays' yesterday. Many thanks to Mariel.

Have a fabulous day in your corner of the world. I'm going to do the same in mine.

    1. i'm going to say right here and right now, i don't think there is anything cute than a puppy. not even a baby. not that babies aren't cute and they do have that 'baby head' smell that should be bottled.....but puppies are just the cutest.

    1. he's a snuggle bunny. went back for another puppy fix this evening. my sister in law came over tonight and our neighbor jay handed him over the fence and he snuggled with both of us. Too damn cute. and an awesome stress reliever to boot.

  8. Yay! Congrats on the feature!! And lucky you, getting to snuggle with a puppy... without the messy clean-ups! ;) Love all of the blooming flowers, it's such fun to walk around the yard and see what's popping up today. I've got deliciously fragrant hyacinths making my world happy. :)

    1. :) oh my, did puppy duty today as work out of the house and neighbors don't. so we let him and other three doggies out mid morning and mid afternoon. only get to do morning tomorrow because neighbor is playing 'puppy' hookey in afternoon. he's so cute. when i got them all to the door today, all four ran out at the same time and little shane got plowed over and did a sommersault of the step. it was way too cute.

hyacinths are SO lovely. got myself some pinks (a shade I'd never seen) there other day.
