Gallery Showing Of Sorts

Door to a perfect cosmos. Fine art print.

Another Edition of The Talented Faces of Etsy

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times. The talent on etsy amazes me. There is something for everyone to love. Something for everyone to be inspired by.  Let me introduce you to the work of some fellow illustrators and artists whose work I'd love to have.

First. Moon and Lion. Just found this wonderful shop yesterday. I'm loving the whimsical nature of Macky's art.

Funky home or office or studio decor. My life rocks.

Maybe this one speaks to me because I'm from the Granite State, where we 'Live Free or Die'. Come on people, you have to love that for a state motto. Don't mess with us Granite Staters.

New Year Resolution. Stay free, bright green original screenprint on acid free paper, signed, fits on an Ikea frame

By the way, Macky lives on Mallorca, a Spanish island in the Mediterranean. Sounds heavenly.

Emma Leonard of Belafonte is an artist in Melbourne, Australia, where it's presumably the opposite of our cold, miserable winter weather today.  I think her work is just lovely. I just discovered Emma today thanks to a front page treasury.

Girl Reading 5x7

The colors, the lines, the detail. Just lovely.

Everything I Cannot See 8x10

Sometimes I even surprise myself with my tastes. Apparently I like abstract work more than I realized.  I think it really brings focus on the colors of a piece.  I think Noemia Prada's work deserves more attention.

Mini Painting. Acrylic on heavy weight paper. 4.7 x 4.7 in /12 X12cm Original, signed and dated by artist Noémia Prada.

Heads up though, if abstract just isn't your style, Noemia creates more than that.  She also has a lovely collection of romantic mixed media works.

Anita Rivera's work will help you dream a little dream. Her magical touches abound in her shop Castles, Crowns and Cottages

Castle in the Clouds

How sweet is this card from Anita's 'little blue coat' series?

Anita also has a lovely blog. Yup, you guessed it. Castlescrownsandcottages. You may want to check it out.

One last artist for you to share with you today. I really like Sara Feiss's illustration style.

Original ink illustration- The city life - gray and white

I also like the fact that I'm not the only one with a gazillion ideas running around in my brain.  Apparently, 'Julia' does too, thanks to Sara. However, it looks like Julia's thoughts are more about diamonds and mine are about projects.

Have you discovered any new artists lately, or rediscovered an artist you love? Let the cat out of the bag so we can all enjoy their art.  Feel free to share a link to one of your favorite artists. It's fun seeing the variety of work out there.

Sunset Meadows

I know, I know. I should walked across to the field for this one, but I had my she-booties (slipper-boots) on. And it was cold. There's no way denying this was a  real smokey kind of sunset yesterday. I love it when my work day ends like this.

Smokey, right? Would I lie.

Hope all is well in your corner of the world. Snowed overnight here. Light but enough to cover the ground.  A little punch of winter, before the temps rise again. Craziest winter weather, but I'll take it. I've had to haul much less wood this winter and that's not a bad thing.

Carpe diem,

    2. I love watercolors! They are so beautiful. I did it a little in high school and it was lots of fun, but it's definitely not my talent!

    1. HHL, I have to admit, I did order a couple of small pieces from two of these ladies. They're in the mail and I plan on hanging them in my office. So excited. You're lucky to have some of Anita's work. It must make you smile when you see it.

It's still cold now, but temps are supposed to start rising! Can't believe this winter compared to last (10 feet of snow!).
