Sprucing Things Up
You may have noticed things look a little different around here on Mercantilke Muse, and it's not because I mopped the floor. I'm currently sitting at my desk trying to learn new tricks......blog customization, dreamweaver (doubt that will happen in this century), work arounds and the like. I'm trying to bring the Muse in line with our shop (Bates Mercantile Co.) branding so it all has a cohesive look. I can't do everything I want yet, but where there is a will there is a way. Please be patient, as I do some fiddling around here and there. It's going to be a lot of work, but thankfully I like learning and thankfully I have a pal who forces me to take a break.
When I first sat down at the desk this morning, ol' nudgy bones kept coming over and putting his head on my lap as if to say...'hey, don't you know it's Saturday'.
I know, I know, but sometimes it's when I get the most things done around here.
I'll be making a new meatball recipe later.........either veal gorgonzola meatballs or greek (beef/lamb) meatballs with walnut feta sauce. They're both from Rachael Ray this month and they both sound delicious. Also hoping the breeze dies down so we can have a campfire later. After that, I'll get my hockey fix watching my big, bad Bruins. It's the little things that make me a happy girl.
On another subject all together, did you see our latest giveaway? Check it out and be sure to enter for your chance to win an art print of my latest illustration, Grow Love. And, if you have an online shop or blog, be sure to enter our current Gotta Have It/Gotta Blog It link up party and promote your shop or blog for free.
What are you plans for the day......are you working in your studio? crafting? cleaning?
Whatever it is, I sure hope you enjoy your Saturday wherever you are.
See you on the flip side.
