Things I Found At The Party & Sponsor Spotlight

One Thing Leads To Another

I really enjoy 'cleaning up' after each Gotta Have It/Gotta Blog It Link Party, where online shops and blogs can introduce themselves to Mercantile Muse followers. I know that sounds a little confusing..........what? she likes to clean up after a party? Hear me out. I get to check out each link which brings me to either a shop or blog, and I have a chance to really look around.  If you haven't had a chance to look around the 'virtual online party' yourself, I highly suggest it (there is also still time to link up if you have a shop or blog). I always find the most wonderful things.

This edition of 'Things I Found & Overheard At The Party' was inspired by Muse newcomer, Cindi Ressler's wonderful beach photo which led me to so many other wonderful things. Don't you agree?

Did you have a favorite find from the current Gotta Have It/Gotta Blog It Link Up Party? I'd love to know. Feel free to share a link in the comments.

Sponsor Spotlight

You may have noticed that for the past couple of months, I've had a wonderful sponsor featured at the top of my right sidebar. has been wonderful to work with and very supportive of Mercantile Muse. What more can you ask for in a sponsor?

I really can't thank them enough. In case their name doesn't say enough about what they specialize in, 'wink wink', here's a little more about :

They have an extensive selection of Persian rugs and Oriental rugs in nearly all large rug sizes imaginable including: large rugs, oversize rugs, palace rugs, mansion rugs, square rugs, and even wide rug runners. The have fine hand knotted oversize and large rugs from all Persian weaving areas such as: Heriz rugs (Northwest Persian), Kashan rugs, Kerman rugs, Sarouk rugs and Tabriz carpets.  Just look at these rugs! I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I think they're all gorgeous. The thing I really love about Persian and Oriental carpets is that they are so classic they go with any decor. European, shabby chic, modern, retro, bohemian, or what have you. The variety of patterns and colors means there is a rug for just about everybody.

They specialize in large rugs, oversize rugs, palace rugs, mansion rugs, square rugs, and even wide rug runners. Now, I'll say this, my home doesn't qualify as a mansion by any stretch of the imaginatin, but 'The Bates Estate' could surely pretend to be a palace of sorts with a beautiful Kerman as the focal point of our living room.

Keep in mind, when I say's selection is extensive, I mean it. Take a look at their beautiful large carpets and rugs. You won't be disappointed.  If you're in the interior design business, will become your go-to place for rugs that make a big statement.
