Giveaway!


Did you hear? It's Better to Give Than to Receive.

Lo and behold, it's another giveaway on Mercantile Muse. Do you like beautiful sunsets? Do you like the country?  Well, then start warming your fingers up, hit the keyboard and enter to win a 5x7 archival art print of my photograph Barn Rye.



It features a field of rye, waving in the sunset, in front of a New England barn.


We have the most glorious sunsets here and I'd like to share this one with you.

Have a fantastic weekend. Ours will include a couple of neighborhood SuperBowl parties in honor of our New England Patriots, who will surely take care of the Giants. Sorry Giants fans, but you already stole one from us. This one's in the bag.

  1. I have a wall of barns in my kitchen - all original artists (mainly finds on Ebay before I knew Etsy existed). I have some weird love affair with barns, so your image is super charming. I am also a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac, so thanks for that too. We must be some kind of kindred spirits :) What a great way to start off the weekend - Have a wonderful one!

    1. I love barns too. So happy my neighbors across the street invested in rehabbing the barn in the photo. I'm sure it was a pretty penny, but I think it's such an important part of preserving our heritage. So many are near collapse.

  4. Sunsets always amaze me. The sun sets EVERY DAY! Yet I am always knocked over by some of the gorgeous ones I have seen. Yours is indeed beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
    We too will be enjoying family this weekend while watching our favorite football team even the score! Go Pats, we believe!!
