I'm thankful for another bright blue sky day. The hound and I were off for a quick jaunt this morning. Lucan being 14, our walks have gotten a bit shorter and closer to home, but there is still much too see if you take the time to notice.
Milkweed seeds waiting for the next wind to be scattered .
Grass isn't just green.
Blue skies. Sun shining.
Black Eyed Susans....still blooming.
Clover leaves showing their new colors, with a touch of dew.
Sun-speckled pine branches.
Things bigger than yourself.
Golden hues.
Ombre colors...'By Nature'.
Striking contrast.
Pond view.
We are so blessed to live where a good dose of nature is right outside our door.
Are you able to get out and enjoy your surroundings? Where is your favorite place to take a walk? Urban or country, it doesn't matter. There's so much to see wherever you live.
Ciao for now,
lovely pictures....I need to get out and walk more myself.

This pond...
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a pond on our neighbors property. it serves as the 'fire pond' for the neighborhood because we live in an area where we are all on well systems. so this pond has a hydrant in front of it should the firemen need water. it's a pretty little pond.
