What I've Been Working On

Drifting Away

Rainy weekend here. Perfect for a little creative time.

I've been playing with paint and some of my driftwood sticks.

Did you know I used to paint rocks when I was a kid and then go door to door trying to sell them to my neighbors?

Guess the sticks aren't far off.

I think they'll be a fun addition to our booth at the craft fair.

This one though, is all mine. It's so small and sweet.

And mine. All mine.

I've been working on another little craft project....more on that tomorrow.

LAST CHANCE TO ENTER

The September giveaway ends at 12:01 tonight. So if you haven't entered yet, or if you want to earn more chances, go here NOW!

Hope you're enjoying your weekend. I've got to go. My husband just got home and gave me beautiful cala lilies and I have to put them in some water. They're so tall, I think they're going to need my tallest Waterfor vase. Nice, huh? Love that man of mine.

Enjoy your Sunday,

    1. Hi Eyelah...hey, did you notice I put your button in the sidebar? Hope things are a little less 'stressful' for you. I think I'm going to leave them as is, they look really nice sitting on a bookshelf. Will bring all but the little one to the craft fair we're doing next month. We'll see what happens. They'd be really nice strung together to hang too, I think.

  2. Love the colours you painted them! Sounds like you were a thriving creative entrepreneur from a young age. The feather looks perfect alongside the sticks. Nature is most inspiring! Happy week my friend..xo C. HHL

If you're interested, let me know and I can forward you lori's contact info (she's organizing and she also has etsy shop BeJewelledNH). 6. Your painted sticks are really cool, and what a great way to add extra color to your booth. I loved painting rocks when I was younger as well, I bet painting those sticks was fun.

  7. These are lovely and remind me so much of Bonjour Frenchie! She also accents them with a feather.

    1. Hi Anon, I LOVE feathers.....I'm always collecting them on my walks.Same can be said for driftwood or any branches that interest me on our beach and woodland walks.

Does bonjour frenchie do sweet little watercolors of cities around the world or am I thinking of another shop? I think I've favorited some of bf's work before. Will have to take a back look through my etsy favorites.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you come back.
