Sunset Meadows
The sunset was so pretty last night. Beautiful from start to finish. I thought it would be an appropriate way to finish off the week.
Happy Friday.
We are so very lucky to have that view right outside our door. A little bit of heaven.
Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate Easter. We will be spending Easter Sunday at sister Di's and enjoying the bounty of food that everyone brings to share. Baked ham, smoked turkey, tourtierre, sweet and sour cabbage, brocolli casserole, squash, aspargus, mashed potatoes, fruit compote and more (really?). The kids will have their annual egg hunt which I love watching and I will most definitely enjoy an easter egg or two. I'd also like to get out in nature this weekend, perhaps a field walk or too, to relish in the beauty of nature, God's own personal work of art.
What are your plans for this special weekend?
Wishing you a very blessed and peaceful Easter weekend.
Freeform Friday
I watched Jerry Maguire last night. Love that movie. It's about the things that really matter. Don't blink, or you'll miss the wise words of Dicky Fox from the movie.........click here if you are reading this by email.
And what can I say about Luciano. A gift from God and perfect for Easter weekend. Click here if you're reading by email.
Peace,
LOVE me some Jerry Maguire!

ReplyDeletehonestly leslie, it never ceases to amaze me that we have these sunsets out our window. so, so blessed. It's like a calling card from God.....magnificent nature............
DeleteWhat lovely photos and yes, the perfect way to close out the week. :) This year my daughter's birthday falls on Easter, she'll be 12. The last time this happened she was much younger and had a terrible birthday! She got sick, feverish, out of it... couldn't enjoy either celebration! This year ought to be much better. We'll be heading over to my dad's, he's planning a scavenger hunt I think. No meat for us this (or any Easter!), Riley chose Vegan Pizza with kale and onions, yum! Hope that you have a wonderful Easter Pamela, enjoy all of the festivities! Perhaps you should join in on the Easter egg hunt, I have a feeling you'd totally enjoy it all! :)
ReplyDeleteA scavenger hunt! what fun :) Hope your daughter really gets to enjoy the holiday/birthday and her kale/onion pizza sounds like the bomb. LOVE kale and always have onion on my pie. Can't wait to plant kale this year. Easy peasy crop. So good in anything with tomato sauce because it holds it so nice in all its leaf nooks and crannies.
DeleteHave a blast celebrating Melinda.
