Freeform Friday

Did anyone other than us and my parents watch The Beatles 50th Anniversary of Coming to America special a couple of weeks ago? It made me so happy. It made me smile, and when Ringo sang Photograph, it made me cry.  That song just makes me think of all the people I've lost. Kind of like Auld Lang Syne. OK, I admit it, I've also gotten a little teary eyed at commercials.  However, if I had to pick a favorite of favorites, it would be The Beatles. The tributes were awesome, but when Paul and Ringo get together and sing it makes a big smile take over my entire face. I just love 'em.  So here's something from the concert in case you missed it or if you watched it and want more.  Click here if you're reading via email.

Have any plans for the weekend?

I do! I do!  I'm heading into beantown tomorrow and I'm going to the Isabella  Stewart Gardner Museum. At least, that is the plan. I've never been and I'm looking forward to a little 'peace out' time among beautiful art.

What's happening in your world?

Ciao for now,

Sharing is Caring

Free Clip Art: Tape Strips

You Should. You Really Should.

Have you ever perused puglypixel? The site is the BOMB. A # 1. You see, Katrina is a design enthusiast. AND she shares. BIG time.  Am I getting my point across?

I wanted a couple of washi tape touches for our latest ad on Automatism.

Quick search and I've got resulst and I'm thinking to myself, why didn't I just go there in the first place? Where? Puglypixel of course.

Katrina has some of THE best freebies around. She had exactly what I was looking for and the best part is she allows you to use them for business or personal projects. Did I say for free?

Just look at this Washi Tape kit she put together.

Free Clip Art: Tape Strips
Thank you so very much Katrina. You saved me a lot of time. You know, the time I would have spent designing my ownWashi tape clip art. VERY cool.
I love this idea too, you can buy Katrina a cup of coffee to say 'thanks'.

So if you haven't visited puglypixel yet, you should. You really should.

If you've never seen Lori's blog, Automatism, it's one of the top interior design blogs. We've been advertising with Lori almost since we opened our little shop because I really love her style. If you sign up for her blog, you'll be in for a treat with her selections of designs to feature and her weekly buffet post, which I always love.

While you're meandering around the web, and you're done at puglypixel and automatism, stop by KnickofTimeInteriors and join Angie's 'vintage style' link party.  Share your vintage project or blog post and meet some nice new people.

My oh my, there's so much going all the time in blogland.

Have a great Tuesday. I'm off to a meeting with my galpal to discuss some  marketing initiatives. She's always got something on the burner. What are you cooking up today?
