You're Cordially Invited To The Party

The More The Merrier

Hey, come on in.  If you're new to Mercantile Muse, every two weeks there is a party of sorts 'round these parts. It's a virtual party where everyone share's a link to their shops and blogs. The best thing about it, is I get to change things up as I see fit, so from now on I'd like to include those of you would like to share something you made. It's Gotta Have It- Blog It- Make It and it's where the people in the know hang out. As you may have figured out there are guests who have online shops, guests who blog, guests who are crafty as all get out, and guests who simply enjoy a good party and getting to know new people.

So, step up to the bar for one of my favorite cocktails......

....or a glass of lemonade if that's not your style. Let's celebrate Summer!

There is some antipasta on the buffet, so please help yourself.

Don't forget to mingle. That's the best part by far.

Remember, what happens at the party, stays at the party!

I'm so glad you could make it.

Please read the Rules of the House, before linking:

*If you take part in the link up, you will go on a list of particpants and receive an e-mail from me (from the address pbates at speakeasyinfo dot net) when the next Gotta Have It-Blog It- Make It link up party is underway.
*If you like Mercantile Muse enough to link up at the party, shouldn't you follow? I'd love it if you did. There are several different ways to follow in the sidebar to you're right (email, google, bloglovin, networked).
*You'll also find Bates Mercantile Co. here: facebook, pinterest, twitter. It'd be great to connect with you there as well.
*PLEASE Don't just link and run. Be kind and check out each other's links. Sure, this is all about celebrating your shop, your blog, and your craftiness, but it's also about paying it forward and making new connections. You won't believe the wonderful people you meet here on Mercantile Muse. Seriously. They rock. So please have a look around at other links.
*Share a link to the party if you can. 'You two tell friends, and they tell two friends, and so on and so on'. It benefits us all--- blog, tweet, facebook, share on your etsy team if you're on one, etc. If you blog and are so inclined to grab a button (from Mercantile Muse's button page- new one coming!) and feature it on your blog, that would be, as we say 'round these parts, wicked awesome.  I know we can make this the best one yet, with your help!
*If you have both a shop and a blog, you're welcome to link up twice- once for each. Link up is live and open to new links for a week.
*Check back next Tuesday when I feature some things I've found through the link up. It could be you!
Party on (if you're reading by email click here it will bring you to the party)!

By the way, a quick reminder or two. There is still time to enter the 'out of this world' August Giveaway. Personally, I wouldn't wait. You don't want to forget. I'm talking nearly $150 worth of handmade goods here people. No kidding.

Also, the Mercantile Muse Photo Challenge is in full swing and it's been awesome. If you want to join in, that would be fab. There are a few challenges left. Tomorrow is Day 7 of 12, and you need to have your submissions for 'food, glorious food' to me (there's a little email button just below my profile) by the end of the day so I can include you in tomorrow's post.

That's it. Excuse me while I get a pink grapefruit Margarita. Hello heaven.

It's 5 O'Clock somewhere.

Ciao for now,

PS- I'm mulling over changing the link up party name from Gotta Have It-Blog It- Make It to The Good Karma Party since it's all about supporting each other, the handmade and blogging movements, and making positive connections. What do you think? Your feedback is always greatly appreciated.

    1. I snapped at that at one of our bookclub/champagne ladies nights. hhhhmmmm, time to schedule one of those! bummer about the rain, think we may get showers later but we need it. the well is a down and we could use a good dose...but that's the only reason it would be welcomed Reshma.
